Working with educational institutions

In 2009, personnel department employees participated in Governmental Committees for distributing young professionals of the basic educational institutions such as Zaporozhye National Technical University, Kharkov Aviation Institute, Zaporozhye Aviation College, High Vocational School 27, etc. To renew the Motor Sich JSC personnel, 369 young professionals were accepted for employment, with 149 young professionals having a degree in aviation engineering, 96 graduates from Zaporozhye Aviation, Electrotechnical, Hydroelectric, and Metallurgical Colleges, as well as 124 vocational school leavers among them.
71 school-leavers whose parents are Motor Sich JSC employees passed preliminary examinations at preparatory department organized by Motor Sich JSC under Zaporozhye National Technical University and were accepted as its students of leading engineering branches as follows on government-financed basis:

• Aero engine manufacture technology;
• Aircraft engines and propulsion systems;
• Mechanical-engineering technology;
• Metal-cutting machine tools and systems.

In 2009, 75 senior schoolchildren whose parents are Motor Sich JSC employees were accepted as students of preparatory department under Zaporozhye National Technical University.
Motor Sich JSC pays attention greatly to part-time distance education of its employees, with the majority of them enlisted as potential professional staff. According to co-operation agreements between Zaporozhye National Technical University and Zaporozhye Electrotechnical College, screening was carried out to select 33 young Motor Sich JSC employees whose working experience at the company was 5 years: they were provided the opportunity to be accepted as part-time students of those educational institutions on government-financed basis.
Their number currently is over 950.
Working with basic Zaporozhye Aviation College allows the company to employ new personnel graduated from specialized secondary educational institutions and to promote them for further learning at higher education institutions as well: in 2009, 16 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduates were sent to Kharkov Aviation Institute to be accepted as third-year students on government-financed basis; and 19 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduates were at preparatory department under Zaporozhye National Technical University.
In 2009, students as follows underwent practical training at Motor Sich JSC:

• 580 third-year students of 11 institutes of higher education in 43 professions;
• Over 370 students of 11 technical secondary schools and colleges in 21 professions;
• Over 630 students of 10 vocational schools in 16 professions.

Vocational guidance activities are carried out among senior high school students in the city of Zaporozhye and Zaporozhye region on regular basis to recruit students for basic vocational school 27, Zaporozhye Aviation College, Zaporozhye Electrotechnical College, and preparatory department under Zaporozhye National Technical University. Furthermore, co-operation with government unemployment centres was streamlined to engage unemployed people of Zaporozhye region in training with further employment at Motor Sich JSC.
