In 2010, personnel department employees participated in Governmental Committees for distributing young graduated professionals of the basic educational institutions such as Zaporozhye National Technical University, Kharkov Aviation Institute, Zaporozhye Aviation College, Zaporozhye Higher Vocational School Public Educational Institution, etc. To renew the Motor Sich JSC personnel, 186 young graduated professionals were accepted for employment, with 83 young professionals of Zaporozhye Aviation, Electrotechnical, Hydropower Colleges and Zaporozhye Metallurgical Technical College, as well as 135 vocational school leavers among them. Altogether are 404 young graduated specialists.
74 unemployed persons have been trained in groups in turner and miller profession on the basis of Zaporozhye Higher Vocational School Public Educational Institution.
18 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduated students were sent for the further education to Kharkov Aviation Institute majoring in Aero Engine Manufacture Technology.
8 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduated students were sent for the further education to Zaporozhye National Technical University.
73 school-leavers whose parents are Motor Sich JSC employees passed preliminary examinations at preparatory department under Zaporozhye National Technical University and were accepted as its students of leading engineering branches as follows on government-financed basis:
- Aero engine manufacture technology;
- Aircraft engines and propulsion systems;
- Mechanical-engineering technology;
- Metal-cutting machine tools and systems.
Motor Sich JSC pays great attention to part-time distance education of its employees, with the majority of them enlisted as potential professional staff. In 2010 based on the results of competitive selection of 40 young workers, whose working experience at the company is 5 years, were provided the opportunity to be accepted as part-time students on government-financed basis.
Their number currently is over 950.
Working with basic Zaporozhye Aviation College allows the company to employ new personnel graduated from specialized secondary educational institutions and to promote them for further learning at higher education institutions as well: this year, 18 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduates were sent to Kharkov Aviation Institute to be accepted as third-year students on government-financed basis; and 24 Zaporozhye Aviation College graduates undergo preparatory courses under Zaporozhye National Technical University.
In 2010, students as follows underwent practical training at Motor Sich JSC:
- 631 third-, fourth-, fifth-year students of 15 higher educational institutions in 56 professions;
- over 390 students of 8 technical secondary schools and colleges in 24 professions;
- 694 students of 10 vocational schools in 14 professions, 474 are still undergoing practical training.
Vocational guidance activities are carried out among senior high school students in the city of Zaporozhye and Zaporozhye region on regular basis to recruit students for basic Zaporozhye Higher Vocational School Public Educational Institution, Zaporozhye Aviation College, Zaporozhye Electrotechnical College, and preparatory department under Zaporozhye National Technical University. Furthermore, co-operation with government unemployment centers was streamlined to engage unemployed people of Zaporozhye region in training with further employment at Motor Sich JSC.
