Personnel training and retraining

The Motor Sich JSC personnel training administration arranges employees’ vocational training and retraining on a regular basis: training workers to upgrade their competence, as well as training engineers and other employees in industrial safety and risky jobs. The training course purpose is to improve personnel competence and quality of the products manufactured according to the requirements of international standards.

In 2010, 28,057 employees were trained within the training and retraining plan:

Compulsory Education for Work Authorization (88% of trained persons)

Professional Improvement (2% of trained persons)

136 employees boosted their vocational rating up to level 4- 5 in the professions as follows: machinist, grinding machine operator, turner, milling machine operator, NC machine tool operator, electrician, operator of control and measuring equipment, repairman, forging press operator, inspector. 131 employees were taught and qualified as grinding machine operator, turner, milling machine operator, NC machine tool operator, with 73 employees keeping on training. 118 employees were cross-trained, 8 employees keeping on training. 183 welders were trained in accordance with the requirements of certifying organizations. 200 employees were trained in non-destructive inspection methods. 33 employees were trained in adjusting precise equipment.
In 2010, 22 persons of State Employment Center were educated, and 48 were trained. In accordance with contracts, company has trained 50 foreign specialists form Algeria, China, Russia, etc.
