M-6 - WATER-COOLED PISTON ENGINE The М-6 is the first water-cooled engine made of domestic materials. The engine power at maximum power rating was 340 hp. The engine was quantity-produced from 1925 to 1930. The M-6 have been used to power the single-seat fighters Fokker D-X1 (Holland) and Martinside (Great Britain), as well as domestic Polikarpov P-2 and Kalinin К-4 aircraft. The modified М-6 engines had been used to power T-24 and TG tanks.
