Shares of Motor Sich JSC have been included into Russel Global Index

The Russel Global Index company has included sixteen shares of the Ukrainian companies into its global index including shares of ten companies, which actually are the «blue jettons» of PFTS, as follows: Avdeyevsky coke and chemical plant, Azovstal, Dneproenergo, Tsentrenergo, Yenakyevo metallurgical plant, Kiyevenergo, Motor Sich, Raiffaisen Bank Aval, Ukrnafta and Zapadenergo.
Russel company was established in 1936 as a subsidiary of the insurance company Northwestern Mutual Life. As on March 31, 2008 Russel Co. has run the assets amounting to USD 213 bln. and has rendered services in more than 40 countries. The Russel Global Index was launched in 2007 and includes 10, 000 securities from 70 countries. The incorporation of securities of the Ukrainian companies into the index of one of the leaders of indexing agencies implies that the international pool of investors has recognized the creditworthiness of the Ukrainian stock market, financial consistency and investment attractiveness of Motor Sich JSC.
